Child Passenger Safety Learning Hub
To keep a child safe in a car, they need a child car seat, booster seat or a seat belt. The BCAA CPS Learning Hub provides information based on best practice to help you choose the safest seat for your child.
Rear-facing Seats
Rear-facing seats are used from birth until your child outgrows the height or weight of a rear-facing seat.
Forward-facing Seats
Forward-facing seats are used once your child outgrows their rear-facing seat.
Booster Seats
Booster seats are used when a child outgrows the height or weight limit of their forward-facing seat.
Seat Belts
Seat belts are used for children who are over 145 cm (4’ 9”) tall.
