The gift of a rescue at the US border

Grandmother and granddaughter creating memories through gift giving

I had gifted my granddaughter a BCAA Membership and one day, I received a frantic phone call from her. She and her friend were at the border ready to enter the US side, heading to Mount Rainier, when the car totally broke down and was unable to proceed.

“Nana, what should I do?” she asked. “Phone BCAA!” I replied. The BCAA Auto Service Technician drove them all the way back to North Vancouver to her mechanic. Unfortunately, she couldn’t remember her kind driver’s name, but hopefully there will be a record of this rescue so we can say: thank you kind sir – you are part of a very important service!

Next year, I will have been with BCAA 50 years and have been rescued many times! A BCAA Membership makes the best gift.

Cheers,
Phyllis
