Cat-astrophe avoided thanks to purr-fect BCAA recovery

This is a very belated thank you. I had just dropped my aging cat at the vet in Qualicum Beach and I was headed for an eye appointment in Nanaimo. I was turning off the Nanaimo Parkway at the first exit, when I knew something disastrous had happened to the front wheel on the driver's side. I pulled over on the side of the road and could see I was about to lose the wheel.

Of course, it was absolutely pelting rain and I didn't have a cell phone with me. The first car that approached stopped, picked me up, and dropped me off at the nearby BCAA Service Location. They then directed me to your BCAA Auto Service Centre, but not before giving me an umbrella - which unfortunately didn't help my soaking feet!

I scurried as best I could to your BCAA Auto Service Centre and they couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring. I was under the gun time-wise for my eye appointment, and they assured me they would tow my 2012 Mazda 5 to their service centre, and would have it there by the time my appointment was complete. Looking like a totally drowned rat I returned, and the BCAA Auto Service Centre Manager had it up on the hoist. He told me the vehicle could not be driven as the two front tires were shot.

A friend drove down and picked me up in time to pick up my geriatric cat before the vet closed. It had been such a stressful day from start to finish, but the Manager and the very calm and competent BCAA team did everything possible to make it bearable. I thanked them profusely for rescuing the day and likely saving my life. They are totally awesome and I hope they receive great recognition for going above and beyond!
